In this book, we consider equilibrium of soft shells, the primary property of which is ability to resist only stretching. The model of a soft shell approximates well many materials that have wide application in techniques, construction, and ordinary life, in particular films and fabrics. The book is intended for specialists in applied mathematics, in particular the theory of shells.
