The study aid presents a modern view on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention and choice of obstetric tactics in preeclampsia. The purpose of this development is to help students in the study of the discipline “Obstetrics and Gynecology” to acquire theoretical knowledge on this problem of modern obstetrics and purposefully use them in developing tactics for managing pregnant women and childbirth. The study aid is intended for students of medical universities and has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the current Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education of a Specialist in the Specialty “General Medicine”, and the work program of the discipline “Obstetrics and Gynecology”, approved by the CCMC of the FSAEI of HE SamSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
