Traumatic shock

This study aid examines the classification, clinical presentation, and diagnosis of traumatic shock, the ROSE concept, and key intensive care methods, taking into account the application of modern diagnostic and treatment methods. It details modern assessment scales, clinical and laboratory parameters for traumatic shock, and methods for their correction. It also describes the treatment of victims with multiple and multiple injuries, taking into account surgical damage control using a damage-control approach. This study aid is intended for medical residents and has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the current Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education for the training of highly qualified personnel in residency in the specialty: “Anesthesiology and Resuscitation” and the working program of the discipline “Anesthesiology and Resuscitation”, approved by the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education Samara State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. It may be useful for anesthesiologists and resuscitators, emergency medical doctors and doctors of other specialties.
