The monograph is devoted to theoretical and practical issues of interaction between international and national labor law, international legal sources and domestic labor acts; problems arising during the implementation of international standards in domestic labor law regulations and their implementation in life. The book consistently examines: the concept and forms of fixing international labor standards; the fundamental principles of international labor law; the problems of discrimination in international labor law, their implementation; protection from discrimination in the Kazakhstan labor legislation; the legal nature of labor disputes, the causes and conditions of their occurrence in market conditions; problems of employment and wages in the aspect of their compliance with international standards. The progressive experience of the legal regulation of working time and rest time for the purpose of using it in national legislation was also studied. Theoretical conclusions and practical recommendations set forth in the work can be used in further research of problems of labor law, preparation of relevant training courses on international and national labor law, as well as special courses on the protection of labor rights of employees. Recommended to the students of Law, International Law departments studying the discipline “International labor standards”.
